Gordon McDonald Memorial Fun Run

The Gordon McDonald Athletic Scholarship Fund was created to provide financial assistance to students at Chazy Central Rural School. Gordon was a devoted runner who pushed himself to succeed and encouraged others to reach their full potential. His persistence, patience, positive attitude, and encouragement touched so many people’s lives. The recipient of this scholarship will be an athlete who exhibits similar qualities.

The scholarship committee will review applications and choose candidates based on several factors. The applicants must be involved in athletics and plan on attending college or trade school. Awards are based on financial need, athletic ability, academic success, leadership skills, community service, and previous scholarship awards.
